Last, but most certainly not least, Clara Bow was the final pup to join the world—and she made us wait. She just needed a little extra time cooking to make sure she was truly the best of the best.
A twin to Charlie with her own special twist, Clara Bow sports adorable white socks that set her apart. While she may look like her brother, her personality couldn’t be more different. Clara is gentle, happy, and overflowing with love. She adores cuddling up close with her humans and soaking in every bit of affection she can get.

Like the rest of her siblings, a little ice tossed on the floor can convince her to do just about anything—except take a bath, of course. Some things are non-negotiable.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submit an application on our website for the pet you're interested in.

2.
Interview

The pet's foster parent will communicate with you via email or phone.

3.
Meet the Pet

The pet's foster parent will work with you to arrange a time to meet the pet and potentially any other pets you have in your home.

4.
Home Check

If you didn't meet the pet at your home, the foster parent will work with you to arrange a time for a home visit.

5.
Approve Application

If the foster parent feels you and your home are the right fit for the pet, they'll approve your application.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the time you take your pet home, you'll sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. All records will be emailed to you.

All of our pets are in foster homes, and our foster parents lead the adoption process.

We have adoption outreach events at the Peoria, Illinois, PetSmart the second Saturday each month. Come meet our adoptable pets there! (You do not have to have an application done in advance--these are open to the public so adoptions are not performed at this events.)
