Noelle is a 1–2 year old Pomeranian mix weighing about 11 pounds, and from the moment she arrived it was clear that this little dog has known love before. She greeted people and other rescued pups with an open heart and gentle spirit, and that sweetness has only continued to shine in her foster home.

Noelle has settled beautifully into a predictable daily routine. She eats two meals a day, starting with breakfast after she’s had time to go outside in the backyard or enjoy a 15–20 minute walk. Dinner is typically between 5:30 and 7:00 PM, followed by her evening walk, which is often her longest of the day at about 30–40 minutes and can happen as late as 8 or 9 PM. She clearly enjoys her walks and all the good sniffing opportunities along the way.

During the day when her foster family is home, Noelle hangs out on the ground floor of the house, content to be nearby. When they’re out, she relaxes in a spacious pen, which is also where she sleeps at night. She’s comfortable in her setup and doesn’t seem stressed by it, making her an easy dog to manage. She is housetrained and has had only two accidents in her foster home, both likely tied to changes in routine. Although potty pads are available in her pen, they’re almost always unused.

Personality-wise, Noelle is an absolute delight. She is friendly, affectionate, and genuinely enjoys being around people. From her very first day, she bonded quickly with her foster family. Within a few days, she began to alert with a bark or two when the doorbell rang or when she heard unfamiliar outdoor sounds, but this has already mellowed into just a brief, polite notification. She has formed a particularly close bond with the mom in the household and happily follows her from room to room when she’s home, though she remains calm and settled when left alone and greets everyone happily upon their return.

Noelle loves pets, gentle affection, and sweet talk from absolutely everyone she meets. Mornings are her happiest time of day— she bounces with excitement and does joyful little jumps when it’s time to come out of her pen. She’s playful and energetic, especially when it comes to fetching toys, which she can happily do for many minutes at a time. At the same time, she’s perfectly capable of entertaining herself or curling up for a nap when things are quiet. She is not allowed on the furniture in her foster home and has had no trouble settling comfortably on the floor.

On leash, Noelle is well-behaved and curious. She enjoys smelling everything along the way and generally doesn’t pull very hard. She is food-motivated and knows how to sit, though she’s much more reliable when a treat is involved. She rarely barks at other dogs while walking, even when passing homes with barking dogs, and tends to want to greet canine friends politely rather than react to them.

Noelle chews her toys appropriately and doesn’t engage in destructive behavior. When being pet, she sometimes gives very gentle, playful mouthing. She arrived with some itchiness and mild chewing on her left front paw, which was a bit red. After switching her diet to a poultry-free, whitefish-based kibble, her scratching has improved significantly. Like many dogs, it's likely she has some mild food allergies, so her new family will want to monitor her diet carefully.

Noelle is a happy, social, and emotionally intuitive little dog who seems to thrive on shared space and interaction, even if that simply means being in the same room as her people. She has an easy, joyful way about her that brightens the home she’s in.

Noelle would do best in a home that values companionship, playtime, and daily walks, and that enjoys having a cheerful little presence nearby. She has so much love to give, and she truly has a way of making a household feel warmer and happier just by being in it.
