Our girl Athena is the most gentle, loving and caring dog and friend. It seems her main goal in life is to love and make you happy! In the summer we found her abandoned and on the verge of death. She was severally sunburned and malnourished and seemed to have given birth. We took her home for some TLC and now she is thriving. We unfortunately can no longer care for her due to a recent lifestyle change. Athena is not fixed, have papers or updated shots. We simply wanted to get her healthy but could not afford to take other steps for her care. Athena would benefit in a home where she has a spot on the couch and bed for sleeping and comfort. Athena does excellent with children and is a natural mama! She does well being left alone for periods of time. Athena can have accidents if not taken out for long periods of time and she also does love to chew on socks unfortunately. Clutter free environment would be best for her health since she is a chewer. She loves balls and playing catch!
