Apollo came into the shelter as a stray with his brothers, Diesel and Zeus. While his brothers are a bit braver, Apollo is the most fearful of the three — and the one who is struggling the most in the shelter environment.
This sweet boy is terrified and shut down, but there is nothing aggressive about him. Fear is all he knows right now. Despite being scared, Apollo is gentle and kind, and once you offer treats, you can see his true heart begin to peek through. 💔❤️
The leash is very scary for him, but with patience, kindness, and a calm home, Apollo has so much potential to blossom. He is already working with staff to help him feel safer — but time is something he does not have.
