My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Claus - a thoughtful, observant companion with a love for high places and quiet moments.

Claus is a stunning longhaired brown tabby with big, inquisitive eyes that take in everything around him. He enjoys having his space and feels most comfortable perched on tall structures, where he can calmly watch the world go by. Curious and intelligent, Claus prefers to observe first and engage on his own terms. Claus has spent time outdoors and is enjoying his comfy time inside. His favourite spot is up high looking out the window - so he would love a tall cat tree to survery his domain.

Food is the way to his heart - treats are his sweet spot! When he's ready, Claus will come to you for a few gentle scratches, soaking up some affection before returning to his favorite spot up high. He's an ideal match for someone who appreciates a cat with a calm, independent nature and understands that trust and connection grow best when allowed to unfold naturally.

If you're looking for a quiet, contemplative cat who enjoys companionship without constant attention, Claus may be the perfect fit.

If you would like to meet Claus, he is staying at 91 Patterson Rd in Barrie. Our adoption hours are 11 am - 5 pm, or you can give us a call at (705) 728-7311 ex.6
