My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Monty - a very shy soul with a tender heart. You can tell he truly wants love, he’s just not quite sure yet that the world is safe. With a little time, patience, and lots of TLC, Monty will blossom into the affectionate kitty he’s meant to be. He’s the kind of cat who will form a deep, special bond with the person willing to go slow and let him set the pace.

Monty is also a very rare intersex cat, meaning he has genital characteristics that can include a mix of male and female structures. This makes him unique, but it doesn’t change what really matters — he’s a sweet, deserving cat looking for a calm, understanding forever home where he can finally feel secure and loved.

If you’re someone with a soft heart and the patience to help a shy kitty come out of his shell, Monty could be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
