My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tania has what some of the Best Friend staff call "Mom-esque" energy. She is a bit reserved and aloof with people at first, but she's smart and gentle and will be happy to spend quality time together with her new family. If you want a no-nonsense dog who will be there for you without being there ON you, Tania may be your girl.

Note: Tania is barrier reactive, so she may growl or bark at visitors when she's in a crate or meeting room, but that's not an accurate picture of her personality. Please take time to meet her out in the play yard to get a better idea of this graceful lady's true temperament.

Additional adoption info

We strive for an open adoption process that helps you find the right pet for your family. We have standard adoption fees, but offer frequent adoption promotions with reduced adoption fees. During the adoption process there is a brief consultation with our Adoption Specialist and a short contract to sign prior to finalizing the adoption. Best Friends commits to the pets for life and we will take back the pet if they can no longer be cared for in your family. Adopters must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet.
