My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam: The Sharp-Witted Scent-Hound in a Lab Suit! 👃🖤
Meet Sam, a handsome black Lab mix who lives life nose-first! If there is an interesting smell within a five-mile radius, Sam is on the case. He is a brilliant guy with a high "IQ" (Intelligent Questing), and he’s looking for a family that can keep up with his clever brain.

Sam is so smart, in fact, that he’s taught himself a few tricks—like opening gates all by himself! While we’re impressed by his problem-solving skills, his forever family will need to be one step ahead of this little escape artist to keep him safe and sound.

Because the world is just so full of amazing scents, Sam needs some work on his leash manners. He gets distracted easily when his nose takes over, so he’s looking for a patient handler who can help him focus and remind him that walks are for exercise, not just following every squirrel trail! If you want a loyal, smart-as-a-whip companion who will keep you laughing, Sam is ready to sniff his way into your heart.
