MEET ME IN SOUTHPORT, CONNECTICUT! I JUST MOVED HERE!
Hi there! I’m Roscoe, and I’m ready to take the Northeast by storm! I am a very sweet and handsome little 1-year-old male Schnauzer mix with a snazzy little underbite and the biggest ears you've ever seen! I weigh only 12 lbs, and most of it is from my ears, LOL! I was living in Von Ormy, Texas, when my crappy owner sold me to 4 Little Paws Rescue, WOOHOO! I was the happiest boy in town because I moved to a foster home where I get lots of love and care and playtime! I am also now vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find a much better forever family than the one I started with!!
Some info from my foster mom… I make friends easily with everyone, including strangers, children, other dogs, and kitty cats. My favorite doggy playmates right now are the great big dogs in my foster home. I love dog toys and running zoomies, and I love to be chased while running with a toy in my mouth. I also love walks and car rides, and when I recently went shopping at Walmart, I rode in the basket and was a very good boy. Everyone was petting me, and I loved the attention! I am affectionate, snuggly, and I share kisses. I am housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. I only bark when someone knocks at the door, and my foster mom says use caution on a windy day… I might fly away with my great big ears! Inquire about me today!

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
