Meet Sugar. 💔
This sweet girl came into our shelter as a stray after suffering severe abuse and neglect. She arrived with a full-thickness wound around her hock, with ligaments exposed, along with an additional elbow wound. Despite everything she’s been through, Sugar is eating better, trying so hard, and showing the gentle spirit she still has left.
Her wounds are currently clean and being treated, but her foot swelling is worsening, and she urgently needs medical foster to continue healing properly and safely. Shelter care can only do so much for a dog with injuries this serious.
💔 Sugar did not deserve what was done to her.
💔 She deserves comfort, safety, and a chance to heal without fear.
She needs help FAST.
