Owl is a 4.5-year-old black and white kitty with huge, expressive eyes that make her look like a little cartoon character. She came to the rescue in September 2023 in terrible shape, and while she’s still somewhat of a mystery medically, she’s a happy girl who enjoys the good things in life.
Owl loves being brushed every day and truly looks forward to it… until she’s done. And when she’s done, she will absolutely let you know — no guessing required. Because of this, she would do best in a home without young children, as kids are more likely to miss her warning signs and end up with a swat.
She enjoys her food, is on an all wet food diet due to severe stomatitis, and has a dental scheduled for January 19th that we’re hopeful will make eating and grooming more comfortable for her. She still needs regular brushing since she mats easily, but she’s very manageable for someone who understands cat body language.
Owl is affectionate, enjoys lap time, and has a lot of love to give to the right person — someone who appreciates a cat with a little attitude, clear boundaries, and a whole lot of charm.
