My name is Edison!

Edison is a handsome 1½-year-old Domestic Shorthair weighing approximately 12 lbs who is ready to find his forever home. He was surrendered to the Rockwall Adoption Center when his previous owner could no longer care for him due to having too many animals. Now, Edison is hoping for a fresh start with a family of his own. Edison is a friendly, easygoing boy who is litter box trained and eats dry cat food. He has previously lived with other cats and did well, though he has not yet been introduced to dogs or children. With a calm introduction, he may continue to thrive in a multi-cat household. His adoption fee is $50, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, FVRCP booster, and FIV/FeLV test. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
