Meet Teddy,

Teddy has already been through a lot in his young life. He experienced a stressful situation where other dogs in his home turned on him, leaving him with injuries. Because of this, Teddy can be a bit nervous and cautious, but underneath it all, he is an absolute sweetheart. He is just starting to come out of his shell and show his gentle, loving nature.

With the help of shelter staff and volunteers, Teddy is slowly learning that the world can be a kind place. He absolutely adores cuddling with people he trusts and is motivated by treats. He's also gradually getting used to walks and exploring new environments.

Teddy will need a patient, understanding home to continue supporting him as he works through his fears. With love, patience, and guidance, we have no doubt Teddy will blossom into a devoted, affectionate companion and a wonderful addition to the right family

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
