Meet Carmel!
Carmel is a sensitive, sweet, low-energy pup with a big smile who loves nothing more than snuggling up with her people. She walks nicely on a leash, is potty trained, and crate trained too! Carmel would love to spend her evenings going for long walks around the neighborhood. She's good with other dogs but would be just as happy simply hanging out with her humans.

Submit Application

To start your adoption process, please complete our online application.

2.
Interview

A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

3.
Home Check

Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

4.
Meet the Pet

Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.

6.
Take the Pet Home

For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Our adoption process starts with an application for meet and greets and adoption consideration. Applicants complete phone interviews, background checks, provide vet and personal references, and finish with a virtual home visit to ensure a good fit.
