Meet Millie! This beautiful, high-energy girl is a fun-loving, playful Golden/White dog who loves to run and play to her heart's content. Millie is always up for a game, whether it's fetching, running, or just exploring her surroundings. She’s also known for her joyful barking, so she’s definitely got a big personality!

Millie would thrive best in a rural setting with a spacious yard where she can burn off her energy. She enjoys being active and needs room to roam and play. While she loves her freedom, she is also housebroken and enjoys her kennel, making her easy to manage when it's time for rest.

Millie is great with both cats and other dogs, so she’s the perfect addition to a multi-pet household. However, watch out for her counter-surfing tendencies—she’s always on the lookout for tasty treats! If you're looking for an energetic and loving companion, Millie is sure to bring plenty of joy and fun to your home!

Submit Application

To start your adoption process, please complete our online application.

2.
Interview

A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

3.
Home Check

Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

4.
Meet the Pet

Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.

6.
Take the Pet Home

For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with an application for meet and greets and adoption consideration. Applicants complete phone interviews, background checks, provide vet and personal references, and finish with a virtual home visit to ensure a good fit.
