Midnight is a stunning black cat with the soul of a survivor and the heart of a nurturer. She came to us after surviving a gunshot to the face — an unthinkable trauma that left tiny fragments still in her nasal cavity and face. As a result, she has a unique little “lazy eye” that only adds to her charm and character.
Despite everything she’s been through, Midnight is incredibly loving, gentle, and calm. She’s a sweet-natured girl who just wants a quiet, cozy home where she can finally relax and be cherished. Her fur is incredibly soft — like petting velvet — and once she trusts you, she loves a good cuddle and head scratch.
Midnight was also a wonderful momma cat, raising her kittens with quiet strength and love. Now it's her turn to be the one cared for.
She’s a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a powerful story and an even more powerful capacity for love. Midnight may have scars, but her heart is whole — and she's ready to share it with someone special.

Interview
A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

Home Check
Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

Meet the Pet
Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.
6.
Take the Pet Home
For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Our adoption process starts with an application for meet and greets and adoption consideration. Applicants complete phone interviews, background checks, provide vet and personal references, and finish with a virtual home visit to ensure a good fit.
