Mochi is a darling gray and white male kitten with a soft coat, bright curious eyes, and a personality as sweet as his name. He’s the younger brother of Miso, and while he may be smaller in size, he’s overflowing with charm, energy, and affection.
This little guy is full of playful antics — chasing toys, hopping after feather wands, and zooming around the room with joyful enthusiasm. Mochi brings life and laughter wherever he goes, always eager to explore and entertain. He’s got just the right amount of kitten mischief, keeping everyone on their toes and smiling.
But after all that playtime, Mochi turns into a little lovebug. He’ll happily climb into your lap, melt into your arms, and purr like a motor as he soaks up your attention. He craves connection and will follow you around the house, wanting to be part of everything you’re doing — from making coffee to folding laundry (he might help with that too, in his own adorable way!).

Interview
A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

Home Check
Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

Meet the Pet
Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.
6.
Take the Pet Home
For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Our adoption process starts with an application for meet and greets and adoption consideration. Applicants complete phone interviews, background checks, provide vet and personal references, and finish with a virtual home visit to ensure a good fit.
