Meet Mistletoe — the sweetest little holiday miracle 🎄🐾
Mistletoe is the definition of sweet. This precious pup adores snuggles, gentle pets, and playful moments, and she’s learning the ropes of being happily spoiled in her amazing foster home. After being found abandoned on a rural road in East Texas just before Christmas, Mistletoe and her sister were saved by a kind-hearted animal lover and given the gift of loving foster homes — truly a Christmas miracle.
Mistletoe can be just a tiny bit timid when meeting new people, but offer her a treat and a soft, reassuring voice and she’ll quickly warm up. Her gentle nature and trusting heart shine through once she feels safe.
In her foster home, Mistletoe is thriving. She’s learning important life skills like pottying outside, walking on a leash, and crate training. She absolutely loves playing with her canine foster siblings, so a friendly, playful pup in her future home would be a wonderful bonus.

Interview
One of our volunteers will contact via email or phone regarding your application and discuss if a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

Home Check
Home visits are completed virtually with through a video conferencing app or FaceTime.
4.
Meet the Pet
In person meet and greets can be arranged for local adopters. For our out of state adopters, a virtual meeting can be arranged with FT.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once your application is approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to your electronically.
6.
Take the Pet Home
For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Our adoption process requires an application for meet and greets and consideration for adoption. Applicants complete a screening process including phone discussions/interviews and background checks through online services. Applicants are required to provide vet references for past and/or current pets and personal references. Lastly, a virtual home visit is completed to be sure your home is the right environment for one of our pets.
