Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Conroe, Texas
Delilah & Bolt: a match made in boarding.
It feels like fate brought these two together.
Both Delilah and Bolt have been longer-term dogs in our program, and both know the heartbreak of being adopted and returned. Their bond began while boarding, and from the start it was clear—they balance each other perfectly. Delilah is the yin to Bolt’s yang.
Bolt was deeply loved by his previous family, but after months together it became clear that his nervousness made it difficult for him to live in a home with an autistic child. Delilah, on the other hand, is his total opposite in many ways. She’s a true social butterfly—thrilled to be everyone’s friend, whether you’re ready or not. She’s a joyful ball of energy who loves people and happily accepts attention from anyone willing to give it.
Bolt takes a little more time to warm up, but it's clear Delilah helps curb some of his nervousness. Her confidence boosts his own, helping him feel safer and more secure. Once Bolt trusts you, he loves with his whole heart. He seeks out affection, belly rubs, and playtime, and has a soulful, gentle demeanor that draws you in.
These two are best buddies in boarding and spend their days enjoying pack jogs on a large property. Bolt is a true water dog and absolutely lives for splashing around, while Delilah is obsessed with squeaky toys. Together, they love running, chasing, and wrestling—it’s pure joy to watch.
We know it’s a tall order, but we’re hopeful there’s a perfect home out there willing to keep this special duo together. They would thrive in an active home with a large, securely fenced yard where they can explore and burn off energy. They’ve been introduced to many dogs daily at their boarding facility and do well in that environment.
Delilah is all in from the start with her outgoing, energetic personality and will need someone who can challenge her both mentally and physically. Bolt may take a little patience, but the reward is immense—a loyal, loving companion who just wants to feel safe and cherished.
Two hearts, one incredible bond. We believe their forever home is out there. 🐾💙
