tl;dr: This handsome gentleman is Rico. He needs a forever home. He's playful, sweet, and snuggly. We don't know for sure how old he is, but I'd guess somewhere in the 8-12 months range.
The longer story: My 16yo son has a group of tenderhearted punk teenage friends. A few months ago some of them were fishing & watched as a truck barely slowed down on a dirt road as the passenger dumped two puppies out the door before speeding off. The boys rescued the pups & took them home without clearing it w/ their parents. Both dogs have lived w/ members of the friend group & have been well-loved, but none of the parents were really set up to keep them. Since we already have a dog and a yard and a dog door, my son asked if we could adopt Enrique, Rico's brother.
Then last week we found out Rico needed a new home, so we're fostering him but 3 dogs is too many for our current resources. He's a good, sweet boy. Learning sit & stay right now. Very food motivated. Loves snuggles and fetch.
