Say hello to Ping, the adorable and intelligent poodle mix with a heart full of love to give! This sweet boy is still learning to trust humans, but don't let his initial shyness fool you—once he bonds with you, he'll be your loyal companion for life.
Ping is a happy, higher-energy pup who absolutely thrives in the company of other dogs. He currently lives with his canine best friend and two cats, and he flourishes with their companionship. He's playful, smart, and loves his toys—especially ones he can chew on! You'll often catch him doing the most adorable poodle move: standing on his hind legs and waving his paws in the air.
Ping needs a home with at least one other confident, friendly dog who can be his buddy and help him build confidence around people. He'd do well with cats too, especially playful ones! While he's still working on basics like potty training and leash walking, his intelligence and treat motivation make him an excellent candidate for positive reinforcement training.
Ping is timid around new people and prefers to take things slow. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him blossom at his own pace. He can be a bit protective of his food bowl, so a home experienced with managing meal times would be best.
Pings ideal home will be:
-Homes with another dog (required!)
-Patient, understanding owners
-Active families who can provide mental and physical enrichment
-Someone who appreciates a smart pup with tons of potential
Ping is waiting for that special someone who will see past his shyness and recognize the wonderful, loving companion he's destined to become.
Ping is:
12lbs
3 years old
Neutered, utd on vaccines, microchipped, fecal tested.
Dog, cat and expected to be kid friendly.

More about this rescue
We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.
We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
Follow us on our journey to create a rescue that provides animals the love and care they need while they find their home. We will post updates on our social media of the dogs we are able to help and how your support made a difference.
