Hello there - my name is Cold Foam! I'm the handsome black cat. I'm estimated to be about 2 years old. I can't wait to let you learn more about me!

And I'm Cool Whip. I'm the beautiful lilac kitty, and I'm approximately 6 months old. I'm looking forward to a new life with you and my best friend Cold Foam.

New things are a little scary for Cool Whip, but all he needs is time and someone to show him it's okay. With another cat by his side, his confidence has skyrocketed. Once he's feeling more comfortable, he loves to roll around and make biscuits for you. He's even developed very soft fur as a way to trick you into petting him more!

Cold Foam has been known to shower his favorite people with love. He's got an elevator butt that goes through the roof, and he'll headbutt you so hard he should probably wear a helmet! Give him treats and pets and you will be his new favorite person.

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
