My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duchess is believed to be a rare Himalayan, and she is as sweet as she is beautiful. This 11-year-old lovebug had a rough start—after being missing for 5 weeks, her owner let us know they could no longer care for her. When Duchess arrived, she was in rough shape, with a severely matted coat that had even caused some skin irritation.

Now safe and cared for, Duchess is thriving and full of affection. She loves attention, giving adorable “dolphin kicks” when petted and rubbing in circles to show her love. A devoted lap cat, she enjoys snuggling and being near her humans.

Because of her age and gentle personality, Duchess would do best in a quiet home without young children, where she can enjoy a peaceful, pampered life. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart full of love, Duchess could be the perfect match.

Our adoption fee includes: sterilization surgery, microchipping, deworming, age-appropriate testing, up-to-date vaccines, and monthly flea prevention.

More about this rescue

We work directly with volunteers who provide trap-neuter-return services to our community. Our goal is to decrease the population of stray animals through TNR and adoption.
