Honey is about 18 months old (exact birthdate unknown) and has been with us for nearly six months as a rescue. She is a fantastic dog, extremely playful and intelligent and gets along wonderfully with all dogs big and small. She loves kids, the dog park, wrestling, chasing, tug-o-war, teasing and being teased.
Despite many modifications, we have been unable to contain Honey in our yard ever since she officially settled in, and it has made it difficult for our busy family and for our older dog who is a good boy and always stays home. Our home and neighborhood is surrounded by woods and wildlife, and Honey can’t help herself. She needs a home and family who is active and can give her the physical activity she needs, but she also needs a home with a fence that can contain her — at least six feet tall.
Honey also has recently lost an eye to glaucoma. It hasn’t slowed her down a bit. She is a great dog who just needs a home that can match her energy and keep her contained.
