Holly is a gorgeous black Great Dane mama with the softest eyes and the gentlest soul. She came to us from Texas after being found living under a porch, doing her best to survive while pregnant. Despite that start, Holly is everything you hope a dog can be.

She gave birth to seven puppies and has been an incredible mother. Patient. Attentive. Calm. She watches over her babies with quiet confidence and a whole lot of love.

Holly is sweet, friendly, loving, and gentle. She enjoys human attention, leans in for affection, and has a peaceful presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. She is the kind of dog who fits beautifully into a home that values calm energy and connection.

Holly is ready for a home where she can finally be cared for the way she deserves. A soft place to rest. A family to love. A life where she never has to worry again.

More about this rescue

As a 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization, our mission at Angel Dog Alliance is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
