My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Chik and yes, those are my gorgeous brown ASPCA eyes staring into your soul. I arrived from Roswell, New Mexico in November with my five babies. After spending the next 6 weeks in a foster home, I am finally ready for a permanent family of my own.

I absolutely love kids, even more when they let me sleep all cuddled next to them. Sometimes I forget that I am pure muscle and will run to hug my favorite people and they have to help me settle down. You`ll probably have to remind your kids and family to put their things away. Apparently, Xbox controllers are not food! Who knew?! I totally thought it was fun to chew up!

I haven`t spent much time with other dogs, so I would need to meet any dogs that currently live in the home. I have lived with cats and even slept next to one regularly in my foster home. They can be fun to chase, but I just like playing. Chickens, however, are delicious. So, if you free-range chickens, I may not be the best fit for your home. I am also, as my foster mom says, a bit too interested in other small animals, so will need to go to a home without free roaming small animals like chinchillas, ferrets, guinea pigs, etc.

What is my best quality, you ask? It`s my desire to be with you and to make you happy. I love people and I love MY people fiercely and with every fiber of my soul. I am ready to be your best friend. Your ride or die. But don`t just read this! Come and meet me today at The NOAH Center and ask an Adoptions Matchmaker about me!
