Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cyprus! 🐾🖤
Cyprus may be young still, but he’s already a seasoned expert at one thing: making people fall in love. After spending more than 100 days waiting patiently in a small shelter cage, this resilient boy is ready for a new chapter — one filled with soft blankets, gentle hands, and people who will finally see just how special he is. ✨
Friendly, curious, and always up for an adventure, Cyprus loves being right by your side. Whether you're cooking dinner, typing on your laptop, or simply relaxing on the couch, he’ll be there — following along like your sweet little shadow and offering quiet companionship. He adores head scratches, enjoys being petted, and definitely knows the sound of a treat bag being opened. Wet food? That’s his love language. 😻
This playful, independent guy would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can truly shine. If you're looking for a cat who will be a loyal companion — someone who brings comfort, laughter, and a soft paw on your heart — Cyprus may be the perfect match. 💕
** Cyprus needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a family who will give him lots of love, attention, and playtime. **
Cyprus does well with other non-dominant cats after proper introductions. We aren’t sure how he is with dogs. He does well with respectful, older children and he is litter box trained.
Ready to give this handsome boy the life he’s been dreaming of? Come meet Cyprus and let him show you just how beautiful second chances can be. 🏡🤍

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
