Happiness goes a long way and when you have a happy dog, that happiness will spread far and wide. Kipa is one of the happiest dogs we have had the pleasure of bringing into the rescue. Her resilient and happy nature is boundless. She will bring cheer all year around. Kipa is a 2-year-old terrier mix weighing in at around 35 pounds. She is a medium size gal who will be the center of attention and be the first to draw in a crowd.
Her happiness extends to meeting and acquiring new friends. Kipa can make friends easily with other dogs, children and adults. She does not exclude anyone and if those friends want to partake in some playtime, Kipa is ready to step up. She has a medium energy level so a fairly active family will be a good fit for her. She has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so we do not know what her reaction will be. We do know that she is a gentle and loving girl that will make a great walking partner. She loves to go for walks and since she is leash trained, she is a dream to walk around the neighborhood, local park or maybe even go on walking trails in the woods.
Kips is nothing short of determined when it comes to learning her house and crate training. With daily practice and assistance of her family she will be a master at each one of them. She is also in the process of learning some commands and would gladly learn more of them.
Along with her boundless happiness, Kipa also has boundless love. Her perfect forever family will cherish her every day of her life. She will provide fun and fond memories for years to come.
* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.
