Violet is a dachshund mix (we are not sure what she is mixed with) - unless it's sugar. She was born on 9/16/25 and has been working on kennel training and house training the last week and is making progress.

Approve the application, pay the fee and take the dog home can occur at the meet and greet if foster and family feel it is a match

We look to match the dogs personality, energy, and size to the potential adoptive family lifestyle and dynamics. A family looking for a calm snuggle buddy is not a good match for a working dog that needs to be walked several miles a day to be content and successful in the home.

APAC has bi-monthly in person adoption events at the Temple, Texas Petsmart, typically on the first and third Saturday of the month. There is no need to wait for an adoption event, with an approved application we will schedule private meet and greets at a time convenient for the foster home and the potential adopter.
