Luna is a 5 1/2 year-old, spayed chocolate lab. When we got her she was the runt of her litter but she is now a healthy 75 pound girl.
Shortly after we got her my husband got very sick and has since passed away. I have tried to do right by her but she just is not getting the attention or exercise that she needs and deserves. She is very much a lover and wants to be with people.
She spends most days in her crate alone because I am at work or gone otherwise. My adult children live here but they are gone a lot so she is just left here by herself and that makes me sad for her, it is not fair to her.
She is a strong girl who could use some training on a leash. She is up-to-date on her rabies vaccine. She is current on heartworm test and is on a preventative.
She would do best in a home with someone who can pay more attention to her, take her for walks for her exercise, and perhaps a fenced in yard. She is very smart and very sweet. She just needs more attention than we can give her. :’(
