Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 1.5 years
Weight: 10lbs
Dog friendly: Yes
Cat friendly: Likely fine
Kid friendly: Calm, respectful kids
Potty trained: Working on it.
Crate trained: Yes!
Adoption fee: $695
** PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD AND A COMPANION DOG REQUIRED**
Valiente means "brave one" and this little man has lived up to his name every day. His base personality and temperament is sweet, lovable, fun, and playful.
Being from the puppy mill, he has a layer on top of that happy base personality of distrust - but that is dissolving, but he will need someone with a little patience and understanding.
He is learning new skills every day. He's learned stairs! He's learned doors thresholds are ok! He loves playing with toys and other dogs, loves a good chew bone, and loves a snuggle on the couch. He loves treats and is happy to eat in front of humans and will occasionally take treats from hands.
He wears a belly band during the day to help contain accidents while he is potty training. He will go outside to potty, just the single digit days were rough for potty training. He is not leash trained and will need some help with that, but rides well in the car. He sleeps in an xpen well through the night next to the bed.
He recently had a dental and so new owners will not need to do that for a while.
