Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kestrel 🖤
Kestrel is a handsome senior boy with sleek, all-black fur and a lifetime of outdoor experience. He’s spent much of his life outside, but don’t let that fool you—this sweet guy is very friendly and enjoys human company. He’s happy to accept pets and attention, especially from people who appreciate a gentle, easygoing cat.
Kestrel loves food (who doesn’t?) and still enjoys the thrill of hunting his own dinner, making him a great match for someone looking for an outdoor or indoor/outdoor cat. He has the perfect balance of independence and affection: capable and confident outside, but a nice kitty who enjoys being around his people.
If you’re looking for a friendly, low-drama senior cat who would thrive as an outdoor companion and still be a joy to pet and care for, Kestrel could be the perfect fit. 🐾

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
