Meet Petunia!

Petunia was rescued on 11/29/25 by a good Samaritan who lives in Ensenada, Baja Mexico. While taking her morning walk, she noticed Petunia, who approached her. She had know about this little dog, as she read about her on a group neighborhood chat where neighbors reported a new "street dog" that was likely lost or abandoned by someone in the neighborhood. She could not leave her behind and luckily found a friend to foster Petunia. She is currently fostered in Ensenada, but can be transported to San Diego once an application is received and approved for her adoption. Here is what her current foster family has to say: "Petunia is a social butterfly and she gets along well with all dogs, cats, and people. She is an excellent cuddle bug!"

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
