Meet Merry, a sweet and self-sufficient mama cat looking for her forever home! This lovely lady is a truly independent spirit, but don't let that fool you – she has a very loving heart, especially when it comes to her son, Christmas. You'll often find her meticulously grooming, cuddling, or playfully wrestling with him, showcasing her gentle and attentive nature.
Merry isn't one to demand constant attention, but she's far from shy! She'll let you know when it's mealtime with an adorable little chirp. In the mornings, you'll find her eagerly awaiting her perpetually hungry self's breakfast, clearly very excited for her first meal of the day. After eating, she's off to find a window to look out of, where she can happily spend her day observing the world. After a while, she may come to you looking for a little attention, but only on her terms. She tolerates being picked up for short snuggles and absolutely adores a good butt scratch. She's also proven to be completely uninterested in our resident dog, preferring to avoid those with canine companions. While she's started to sit with our daughter after almost two weeks, she hasn't warmed up to those who regularly have the dog around.
This easygoing girl is perfectly content to spend her evenings relaxing on her own, making her an ideal companion if you're seeking a feline friend who isn't overly clingy. Merry has impeccable house manners, quickly adjusting to her environment and always using her litter box with precision. She's been a dream to care for, demonstrating her adaptable and calm demeanor.

Meet the Pet
Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
