Bama Pinson is very shy and will require a calm home where she can have appropriate decompression.
She is not a good candidate for someone Looking for a dog to travel with or take everywhere. She will hide in her crate until she feels comfortable - it took her 9 days to come out of her crate in her foster home.
She will require an adopter who understands scared and shy dogs.
The backstory:
These sweet pups came from a heartbreaking hoarding case in where over 70 dogs were living together. Their owner sadly became ill and passed away, and that’s when rescue stepped in.
Adoption fee includes:
• Core vaccines (2 rounds)
• Microchip
• Heartworm test & monthly prevention
• Spay or neuter surgery

You will be contacted by adoption coordinator if they have questions or you are approved to adopt.
***If you choose to adopt (before all vetting is complete) and use your own vet rather than our local Snip Clinic for these services, you do so at your own expense and it will not reduce the adoption fee. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.
1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.
2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.
3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.
4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.
5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.
6.) Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit Card.

Adopters are thoroughly vetted to find the absolute best fit for the animal. References are required as well as vet references. All adopters MUST fill out an application. You will be notified if you are approved to adopt. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after you’ve been approved. You are able to take the dog home with you after meet and greet and that is preferred. We do not hold dogs so please do not apply or set up a meet and greet unless you are ready to leave with your dog! Any vetting done at your own vet clinic will be at your own expense. Spay/neuter included in adoption fee must be done by one of our local partner vet clinics.
