My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is a four-month-old kitten with a big personality packed into a tiny, adorable body. She’s curious, playful, and endlessly entertaining, especially when she’s proudly carrying her beloved mouse toys around like prized possessions. Cute doesn’t even begin to cover it!

Betty’s early life has shaped her into a kitten who feels safest when she’s allowed to set the rules. She can be affectionate and social on her terms, but she’s also quick to communicate when she’s had enough—sometimes with a swat, nip, or bite. Because of this, Betty is not a good fit for a home with young children or people who cannot handle her unpredictable nature. She would do best with adults who understand cat body language and are willing to respect her boundaries.

Betty would thrive in an indoor-outdoor environment where she has room to explore, burn off energy, and decompress at her own pace. She’s playful, active, and clearly happiest when she has enrichment and independence alongside human companionship.

We know Betty will need a patient, experienced adopter—someone who sees her not as a “problem,” but as a work in progress with so much potential. In return, she’ll offer entertainment, character, and the chance to watch a special kitten grow into her best self.

Betty is part of our Lonely Hearts Club, and her adoption fee is waived while she waits for that just-right person who’s willing to give her the time, understanding, and space she deserves.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind kitten and believe that love, patience, and consistency can go a long way—Betty might be your girl.
