Cookie is a young, medium-to-large mixed breed girl who found her way to safety with us after being surrendered by her family to a local open-intake animal shelter. Losing the only home she’s ever known has been confusing and frightening, and in the shelter environment Cookie is understandably shy. It’s hard not to imagine how overwhelming that must feel when your whole world suddenly changes.
Give Cookie a little time, patience, and kindness, and she opens up beautifully. Beneath that initial uncertainty is an absolute sweetheart who craves affection and gentle reassurance. Once she feels safe, she leans into love and enjoys quiet companionship, showing just how soft and tender her heart truly is.

We fundraise to subsidize the cost of the spay/neuter surgeries to keep prices as low as possible. Our Adoption Center provides a second chance for many wonderful animals.
