My name is Dixie!

Dixie’s story started with heartbreak. She was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter, where no one ever came to claim her. As Christmas approached, Dixie found herself on the euthanasia list — alone, confused, and running out of time. 

But then, a miracle happened. Our rescue was able to step in and save Dixie, giving her the greatest gift of all: a second chance at life. 

Today, Dixie is in foster care and absolutely thriving. She’s finally learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and valued — becoming the dog she was always meant to be. Dixie is a very loving little girl who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is housebroken, crate trained, and does wonderfully with other dogs.

All Dixie wants now is a forever home where she can be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the rest of her days. After everything she’s been through, she truly deserves her happily ever after.
