Hi, Im Auburn. Im a quiet, gentle soul whos been through a lot-and Im still learning how to feel safe in this big, noisy world. I came into rescue with three tiny kittens, and while I was a loving mama, I was also very scared. People have been kind to me, but I havent always had the chance to build trust slowly and steadily the way I need to.<br/><br/>Im currently at the shelter, and the staff here is working patiently with me, and showing me that humans can be safe, calm, and predictable.<br/><br/>Im not a lap cat (yet), and I might take a while to feel at home-but if youre the kind of person who understands that love sometimes looks like quiet presence and soft eyes from across the room, I could be your girl. I just need a peaceful space, a little time, and someone who believes that even the shy ones deserve a chance.
