My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jingle is an 8-year-old, 22-pound mixed-breed boy—a perfect “best guess” blend of cuteness and charm. While we’re not quite sure what breeds make up his unique look, we are sure he’s a gentle soul who’s ready for a peaceful new chapter.

Jingle hasn’t always known the care and consistency every dog deserves, and as a result, he does have some ongoing medical needs. The good news? With his medications, he’s doing well and feeling much better. What he needs most now isn’t excitement or adventure—it’s stability, kindness, and love.

This sweet senior would thrive in a quite, low-stress home, a cozy spot to relax and feel safe, a person who understands senior dogs and is committed to his continued care.

Jingle is looking for someone who will see past his history and focus on who he is today: a loyal, grateful companion who just wants to spend his days being cared for and loved.

If you’re searching for a calm, easygoing buddy to share quiet moments with and make your house feel a little warmer, Jingle may be the perfect fit. Sometimes the best gifts really do come in small, senior packages.

If you are interested in adopting Jingle, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **

Additional adoption info

After you have found your new best friend, please read our adoption FAQ then submit our online adoption interest form at www.charlottespca.org/adopt

The Greater Charlotte SPCA does not own or operate a shelter facility. Volunteers foster all animals in their homes until adopted. Many of our animals come from high-kill shelters and other rescue situations. We find that fostering gives us the opportunity to assess the animal's personality and needs. This allows us to best match them with the right adoptive family. Also, we are able to provide all care and medical needs for our animals. It enables the animal to develop a happy frame of mind before adoption. We have many wonderful animals looking for a forever home.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every weekend around the Greater Charlotte area. Check our website www.charlottespca.org for upcoming event details. If you would like to meet a particular animal, please contact us so that we can arrange for the foster to bring the animal to the event.
