If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Milo is a 5-year old German Shepherd. He is 85 pounds and just wants attention and love! Milo loves going on walks (3-4x per day) and looooves running around open fields with his two favorite toys: squeaky balls and the flirt pole. Milo is potty trained and crate trained.
We suspect Milo had a traumatic past before we adopted him, as evidenced by gnawed down teeth + fly strike ears… which is perhaps why he is reactive to other dogs and people who come near us. Milo is not reactive to us at all though.
We’ve hired 3 trainers for Milo’s reactivity and have seen improvement, but there is quite a bit more to work through. Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome our sweet boy because we are (unexpectedly) expecting and cannot risk the safety of our newborn.
We love our sweet Milo so much and only want the best for him… we are seeking a family with a home & yard (no kids/pets) who can give him all the love he deserves and needs.
