Millie is a happy go lucky- Loyal protective purebred Pitbull.
We are looking to re-home Millie to a kid and pet free home.
She is a little over 2.5 and has been a part of our family since she was 12 weeks old. She has always been amazing with our children and family. she sleeps with our children every night but recently showed signs of resource guarding when she was playing with her favorite toy. I have always been able to properly intervene and educate my children on respecting her boundaries but with a 5 year old those boundaries are easily forgotten. We also have 4 cats she enjoys chasing around trying to play with which also stresses the cats out. She doesn’t have a lot of socialization with dogs so no other dogs is ideal.
Unfortunately we are in the position where we need to re-home her to a safe environment for my son- and her. We are heartbroken but know there is a family out there with no children and other pets that can give her exactly what she needs.
