My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet

Meet Jenny!

Jenny is a lovely cat who prefers a calm, adult-oriented home. While she tolerates kids, she feels most comfortable around adults and in quiet spaces rather than loud ones.
Jenny has some favorite things that make her happy:

She loves Meow Mix dry food, especially the kind with soft middles, and will even choose that over wet food. Treats: Big fan! She enjoys being brushed with a soft brush.

Once Jenny feels safe and comfortable, she’ll demand pets and affection—she knows what she wants! She came to the shelter thin and dehydrated, but with TLC she’s doing much better and is ready for her forever home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, independent cat who will reward your patience with love, Jenny could be the perfect match for you!

Additional adoption info

Adoptions by Appointment
We've got awesome dogs, cats and other critters waiting for new families to come and adopt! The adoption process begins online, and all adoptions are done by appointment only. In most cases, animals are eligible to go home right away, so be prepared for your new animal to leave with you.

- Potential adopters complete an online adoption questionnaire at https://www.everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet .

- If approved, adopters can then interact with the animal they wish to adopt. It is best for all members of the household to meet the animal prior to going home. Note: Shelter staff reserve the right to deny any adoption if we feel it is not in the best interest of the animal.

- Renters bring rental pet policy at time of adoption. Not having the rental pet policy available may delay or nullify an adoption.

- Adopters must be 18 years or older, and have valid drivers license or photo identification.

- Pet licenses are required for dogs and cats in the City of Everett and unincorporated Snohomish County.

- The adoption fee must be paid at the time of adoption. We accept Visa, Mastercard or cash. We are unable to accept checks for payment of fees or services.

Go meet their pets

The adoption process begins online, and all adoptions are done by appointment only. To reduce the animals' overall stress levels, we have decided to limit animal viewing to those people with appointments for specific animals.
