My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a puppy who is sweet and full of personality, Sabrina is your girl!!!

This little girl who wants all the attention life has to offer is looking for a new home the middle of January, 2026.  After spending her early weeks surrounded by littermates, she’s decided she’s ready for love that doesn’t require competing — and she’s not shy about stepping right in front of her brother Silas to soak up every bit she can get. This purebred Norwegian Elkhound puppy was born at the end of October and weighs 12 pounds at just 9 weeks old. SHe is expected to grow to around 55 pounds when fully grown. Sabrina is confident, playful, and full of joy, with a personality that shines brighter every day. Her favorite things include running through the grass, play-wrestling, and chasing around with the other puppies in her foster home. Watching her discover toys for the first time is pure happiness — she plays with curiosity, enthusiasm, and plenty of puppy charm.

Sabrina already understands pee pads and is also learning to go outside to the grass for potty breaks. SHe is a smart girl who will thrive with continued guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement. Sabrina will be ready for an Elkhound-knowledgeable home in mid-January.  A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED to give this active, outdoors-loving pup the safe space she needs to enjoy life. If you’re interested in Sabrina, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
