My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo was born April 1, 2019 and weighs about 25 lbs.  He is a normal, very happy, excitable guy when there are things going on and then when the fun ends and the day is done he is very much a lap warmer.  Milo has had pretty good vet care and previous records came with him.  The records show that he has taken Fluoxetine for some time, but not for more than a year as likely he has calmed with age.  He was purchased as a puppy by an elderly woman that lived in a nearby mobile home park and we feel he was just a normal young dog in a living environment not suited to his needs.  The elderly lady passed away and Milo  moved in with her daughter and another small dog and they became best of friends.  Then, sadly, this woman became physically unable to care for both dogs and they came to us to find them new, appropriate, homes.  Milo's vet work also shows that he has multiple dermal masses that were aspirated and tested to be sebacious cysts and skin tags and the owner was told just to monitor them.  Milo is said to be lovely house trained and will sit by the door when he has to go potty.  He does pull on leash some likely due to not having been walked much as a puppy and with enough off leash exercise in his next home we hope that gets better.  He does really well on car rides and he is good at the groomers.  He is mostly non shed so he will need routine grooming appointments to keep him from being matted and to keep the hair out of his eyes.  He does love to be combed by his human and knows 'comb' and when you are done with one side he'll happily flip over so you can do the other.  Milo was raised around great grandchildren that are 12 now and he's always done well, but he does get bouncy when excited and may bark.  Milo does bark some, not obnoxiously, but he wouldn't be good in an apartment.  Of course, getting enough activity helps with this also.  He does love toys and tends to steal and collect and sometimes he will growl at his sister over them, but nothing more.  His paperwork says he's a King Charles mix, but we sure don't see it and likely would have guessed him Poodle/Bichon.  So, this is Milo, very loving to his humans and loves to be close and hug!  Is he for you?
