Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Acorn is a tender-hearted pup looking for a special family to nurture his heart. He loves to snuggle with his foster mom and fellow doggy foster siblings and steal treats (especially bagel bites) from the humans. He is cautious of strangers and is still warming up to his foster dad but he gets by with a lot of help from his furry friends.

Acorn is a great mix of puppy and mellow couch potato energy and gets an A+ in the housetraining department. His crate is a safe space but once he trusts his new environment he prefers to be out and about with the rest of the crew. He enjoys chin scratches, toys, and awkwardly sit-standing on your lap. Not to mention, getting his silly zoomies out in the backyard with his buds.

His foster family says Acorn is a champion. If someone is willing to take the time for him to begin to feel comfortable, he is a perfect companion. He is snuggled up to me on the couch right now and sleeping peacefully. Acorn needs time, patience, dog friends, and lots of calm voices and love. He is still nervous around new humans but his confidence grows day by day and its so rewarding to be a part of his journey.

Acorn will need a family with a dog friend (or more!) and a securely fenced in yard.
