Cookie is one of three lab mix puppies who were found on a rural property. We didn't have room for them at the shelter, so they have been staying at the home of one of our local law enforcement employees. She has been caring for them and working on their training and vetting. Cookie is around 6 to 7 months old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She has been vet checked, vaccinated, and chipped, and will be spayed on Jan. 14th. Her fee is $150.
Cookie is the adventurous one of the crew. She loves to explore and kind of push the boundaries a little bit. She is active and fun loving. She has done well with other dogs and kids. She's curious about cats but has shown no negative behavior around them. She's ready for action and would love a home that is ready and able to keep up with her and her antics.
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
