Eugene is a 64-pound pitbull mix who absolutely adores people. He’s social, affectionate, and a true “huggy” boy who wants to be close — leaning in, climbing into laps, and soaking up attention. He enjoys handling, has a gentle, loving nature, and makes friends easily. Eugene is also dog social and has done well meeting other dogs. While we don’t have a history of him living with children, we don’t have any concerns and would simply ask that a meet-and-greet be done for family members and canine companions. You may notice Eugene has a skin condition, and we hope it won’t discourage you. He is currently under treatment, and with continued care, we’re optimistic about his progress. Look past his skin, and you’ll find an incredibly affectionate, people-oriented dog who is ready to give so much love. Eugene’s story is a difficult one — he was found taped inside a box in the city of Buffalo with the words “Please don’t hurt me. I’m a good boy” written on the outside. And that’s exactly who he is. Eugene is ready for someone to see him for who he truly is and give him the loving home he deserves. If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.
