If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Sabrina from the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, 7 1/2 years ago. At the time I was told she was 10, but she does not appear to be an old cat now and is healthy and active. She is very shy and anxious; does like women as long as you are quiet and gentle with her. She uses her litter box for urine with no problem. (I use a clumping litter) the problem is that she tends to poop inappropriately. I leave bath towels down for her to use, and she uses them about half the time, but sometimes she will poop on a blanket or a couch or even on the floor without any reason. She eats both canned food and dry food and is of appropriate weight. She loves to jump up next to me and be petted and sometimes will even roll upside down. She has been a fully indoor cat. I haven’t been able to get her to let me pick her up or carry her. I have not had her vaccinated again since I got her as it is very difficult to get her to the vet and she is not around any other cats.
