Ace is a sweet, sensitive boy who will turn one year old in February and 10 whole pounds of handsome.
Introducing Ace! PLEASE SHARE!
He came to us after spending most of his young life in a playpen due to his previous owners working long hours and being unable to housebreak him. While his start in life was limited, Ace has shown incredible resilience—and now it’s our job to make sure he never gets overlooked again.
Everything in the world is still fairly new to Ace, but he has grown leaps and bounds since entering our program. Today he attended Camp Belly Rub for grooming and socialization (check out his before photos!), and he handled it like a champ.
Ace is a poodle mix and is:
About 95% housebroken
Crate trained
Food motivated
Knows “sit”
Making steady progress every day
What Ace needs to succeed is a patient, committed home that understands decompression time is key. He will do best with:
Structure, clear rules, and consistency
Continued training (a basic training class would be ideal)
Regular grooming
A fenced yard where he can run and play
No cats — he will chase them
Once Ace bonds with his person, he is all in. He’s loyal, solid, and eager to learn. He already has a full toolbox—he just needs someone willing to help him learn how to use the tools. While he did settle in with our granddaughter we feel he would do better with older tiny humans.
If you’re looking for a young dog who will reward patience with devotion, Ace may be your guy. 💙
